Sustainability and Diversity in Interior Design

The Next Cosmetics Company office is a 15,000 square foot space spread across two floors. Designed by Nevi Keser Gruskin, the office embodies the brand's commitment to inclusiveness, diversity, sustainability, and minimalism. The interior design serves as a reflection of the brand's identity, creating a workspace that promotes a healthy and inclusive environment for all employees.

The office design prioritizes sustainability by incorporating a variety of sustainable materials and collaborating with eco-friendly furnishing brands such as Bolia. This not only aligns with the brand's values but also contributes to a healthier work environment.

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was ensuring that every employee was treated equally. Despite limited windows and natural sunlight, the floor plan was masterfully created to provide all employees with similar and ideal workspaces. The strategic layout of the office includes interaction lounges that connect all employees, fostering a sense of inclusiveness and community within the company.

Research played a crucial role in informing the ideal work environment for employees and translating diversity and inclusiveness into the design. The result is an office space that not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also promotes psychological well-being.

The Next Cosmetics Company office design has been recognized for its excellence and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate resourcefulness, technical skill, and a commitment to improving quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
